ADSS cable is suitable for parallel installation where power lines are on the same electric transmission tower or pole. It is designed especially for large span applications and excessive severe lightning areas.
The all-dielectric self-supporting (ADSS) feature allows the cable to be installed without the need to cut off power. The equal distribution of aramid yarns allow for outstanding stress performance, as well as a maximum span of 1500 meters. Its non-metallic structure provides excellent lightning resistance.
