This document outlines the cabinet housing the AER800-8pB-i or AER800-8p-i for use in the U.S. The AER800 series is a repeater for ADSL services improving reach for broadband customers and improving rate and performance for ipTV services. It is installed by the telephone technician somewhere near 6kft (24AWG) from the C.O. The solution is designed to allow ADSL2+ loop extenders or boosters now, yet have the flexibility to replace boosters with a DSLAM later when fiber becomes available. The product is 50% US content to comply with buy American program.
 Cabinet Pole or pedestal mounted IP66 when operated under 50C. Operation above 50C requires air filters that compromise IP66 a little. Bottom entry for 2 x 50 pair 22 AWG telco cables, 1 AC power, optional battery backup 9 Rack Units vertically mounted to optimize convection air flow.
Power distribution panel Battery Power Supply AER8008pB-i AER800-8PB-i is 19 inch wide and 1U high, which can be installed in the standard 19' cabinet. There are 4 2PB modules in each AER800-8PB-i and each module can be easily replaced.
AER800-8PB-I uses 96vDC @ 20W per RU. In order to manage temperature, when the installation of more than one AER800-8PB-I, please leave some space between each one.
