Load-balancing is a feature often touted by router manufacturers, but when it comes to the actual application of it your mileage may vary. Putting aside the complex code required to achieve it transparently, you will often be plagued by ISP specific problems, one of which is attempting to Load-balance between 2 or more different ISP connections which can lead to some bizarre DNS behavior.

Enter OpenDNs.com, a network of self-healing DNS servers that are probably faster than your ISP's anyways. By adding their nameservers to your DHCP configurations, you will no longer encounter the problem of sending out DNS queries down the wrong WAN interface.
