. Outbound Call CenterWe have a great opportunity for you to take your next career step. We are the North American representatives for several overseas manufacturers that make products utilizing VOIP, ADSL, VPN & other internet technologies. These products currently have no brand recognition; our job is to build the brand. We have started a series of webinars to explain these products to our customers and we need YOU to call / mail / email our existing customers and prospects and get them into the webinars and take product samples. This is a business to business call, so you aren't interrupting anybodies dinner. The products are compelling and our list of prospects is on target, so you are calling people who want to know about these products. You will NOT be grinding out a bizillion mindless calls per hour; this will be fun and you will learn cool stuff. We are looking for people that have self confidence, a good telephone presence and a basic understanding of these technologies. You don't need a long resume of work experience; if you are eager to learn more about tech and not afraid of the phone, you will do great! We will teach you basically what you need to say on the phone. Customers will ask lots of questions, so you will need to ad-lib a lot! You can work from home, using our VOIP service.
Qualifications:
Fluent in English
Call Center or sales experience
PC or Network Technology experience
Broadband connection with at least 240kbps uplink speed
Product Support This position will provide technical assistance to customers of our VOIP, ADSL, VPN router products. You must be able to answer product configuration questions, reproduce and document customer problems in our lab and follow up with engineers to get problems fixed. You will have the opportunity to learn embedded software development, VOIP protocols, asterisk, ADSL and more. We are a small shop in an information rich environment; you will wear a lot of hats and learn a lot. Qualifications: Basic TCP/IP networking skills (come prepared to discuss ping, nslookup, VPN) Previous exposure to Linux / Unix A passion to learn new technology Exposure to script languages, like PHP and JavaScript. Ability to solve technical problems with little direction. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Excellent organizational skills and ability to handle multiple projects and priorities Sense of humor and a friendly, outgoing personality
